Institute Scholarship for Members
The Introduction to Affordable Housing Finance course provides a simple and accessible overview of affordable housing funding. It introduces the unique opportunities and challenges, financing tools, and underwriting processes and tools associated with affordable housing. This introductory course is helpful for industry professionals as well as students with a basic understanding of affordable housing principles.
Funded with voluntary contributions, we are excited to offer up to five scholarships per FHLBank member on a first-come, first-served basis. The funds can be used to expand education on affordable housing finance for your staff or housing partners in your community by attending the non-credit course through the FHLBank Topeka Affordable Housing Institute. All requests and reimbursements must flow through an FHLBank member.
This introductory four-week course will be fully online and offered Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m. CT in February, March and April.
The linked MSU Denver Scholarship Program Application and Agreement will guide you through what’s needed to reimburse your course fees. After filling out the PDF linked below, submit your application to AHI@fhlbtopeka.com for approval.
